Terms of Use

1. Who we are

Rhythual is provided by CREATIVE PRO (KE) s.r.o., Moyzesova 24, 040 01 Košice, Slovakia, registered in the Commercial Register of the Municipal Court Košice (Mestský súd Košice), section Sro, insert no. 40319/V, VAT ID SK2023278499 (“we”, “Rhythual”). These terms apply to anyone who subscribes to or uses Rhythual (“you”).

2. Buying through Paddle

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. When you buy a subscription, you buy it from Paddle under the Paddle Buyer Terms. Paddle takes payment, issues invoices, charges and pays sales taxes, and processes refunds and cancellations of payments.

These Terms of Use govern how you may use Rhythual itself. If these terms and the Paddle Buyer Terms conflict about payment, invoicing, taxes or refunds, the Paddle Buyer Terms apply.

3. The service

A Rhythual subscription includes:

• Online team games. Played in a web browser with three screens: a host screen for the manager, a player screen on each participant’s phone, and a shared screen for a projector or screen share.
• Guides for offline team games. Run cards and slides for activities without technology.
• A library where you find all games and guides, with new content added over time.

The current number of games and guides is shown on the website. We may improve, replace or retire individual games and guides over time. We will keep the overall value of the subscription.

A free sample may be offered without a subscription. These terms apply to it, except section 5.

4. Your account and players

The subscriber gets an account to host games and open the library. Keep your login link private. Players join a game with a room code or QR code and do not need an account.

As host, you are responsible for how the game is used in your team. Please ask players to use first names or nicknames only and not to enter sensitive personal information.

5. Subscription, renewal and cancellation

Your subscription runs for the billing period you choose. It renews automatically for the same period at the then-current price until you cancel. For yearly plans, we send a reminder by email before renewal. If the price changes, we tell you at least 30 days before the change applies.

You can cancel at any time in the customer portal linked in every Paddle email, or by writing to hello@rhythual.com. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the paid period. Our Refund & Cancellation Policy explains the 30-day money-back guarantee.

6. Licence

While your subscription is active, you may host games and use the guides with your own teams and organisation. You may keep and reuse printed or downloaded guides after the subscription ends. Online games are available only during an active subscription.

You may not sell, sublicense, publish or share Rhythual content outside your organisation. You may not use Rhythual to offer paid facilitation, training or event services to third parties without our written consent.

7. Acceptable use

Do not use Rhythual to harass, embarrass or discriminate against anyone. Do not try to break, overload or copy the service. We may remove content or suspend access in case of misuse.

8. Running games responsibly

Games are designed to be light, inclusive and voluntary. You decide whether and how to run them. Please adapt them to your team, workplace rules and local culture. Participation should always be voluntary.

9. Intellectual property

All rights to the service, games, guides, texts, designs and the Rhythual brand stay with us or our licensors. Only the licence in section 6 is granted to you.

10. Availability

We aim to keep the online games available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted service. We may carry out maintenance. If a game fails during a session, the offline guides remain available as a backup.

11. Liability

We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. We do not promise any specific result, such as a change in engagement scores. Our total liability is limited to the fees paid for your subscription in the 12 months before the event that caused the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or any statutory rights you have as a consumer.

12. Personal data

We process personal data as described in our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. We will email subscribers about material changes at least 30 days before they apply. If you do not agree, you may cancel before the changes take effect.

14. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may bring a claim in your local courts.
